Terms: You must agree to these terms in order to be included in our database or to use our service.	Terms and Conditions General Agreement. All visitors to this website (hereinafter “Site”) are advised that the terms and conditions stated herein shall be binding, and that your acceptance of these terms is accomplished by the activation of the “submit” key. Your continued acceptance of these terms is made a necessary part of all future transactions and contact with Interpreters’ Group, and need not be repeated on any other occasion. Registration-Employer. The completion and submission of the Employer’s Registration form establishes the entrant as a “User-Employer” entitled to job posting and other privileges with Interpreters’ Group. Binding Agreement : User-Employer. Your posting of the Employer’s Registration or a job offer, and all information contained therein, constitutes a binding agreement between you and Interpreters’ Group, LLC. Your continued use of and access to the Site indicates your continuing acceptance of the terms of this agreement, which you knowingly accept at your own risk. Registration-Language Professional. The completion and submission of the Interpreter’s Registration entitles the language professional to submit a Profile and establishes the entrant as a “User-Language Professional” entitled to access to job postings and restricted bidding on such offers, as well as the inclusion of his or her Profile in the Open Directory and other privileges with Interpreters’ Group. Binding Agreement: User-Language Professional. Your posting of a Profile or submission of a bid, and all information contained therein, constitutes a binding agreement between you and Interpreters’ Group, LLC. Your continued use of and access to the Site indicates your continuing acceptance of the terms of this agreement, which you knowingly accept at your own risk. Payment. By submitting a Job Posting form to Interpreters’ Group, the User-Employer agrees to pay the fees specified for the listing, regardless of whether the job is filled as a result of the listing. The fee is not refundable even if you provide erroneous information, so take care in completing the form. Accounts of User-Employers must have sufficient funds to cover the fee for the posting. Right to Modify. Interpreters’ Group reserves the right to modify the text and other content of the Site, including these Terms and Conditions, at its sole discretion without personal notification to the User. It is the User’s responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions from time to time to be aware of changes, as the ongoing relationship between the User and Interpreters’ Group will be bound by the revised agreement. However, Interpreters’ Group will post notice of changes in the Terms and Conditions on its Home Page. Intellectual Property Rights. The Site and all rights, title and interest in and to the Site are the sole property of Interpreters’ Group, LLC, or its licensors, and are protected by U.S. Copyright laws and Trademark laws. Except for the explicit usage granted in this Agreement, Interpreters’ Group reserves all other rights, title and interest. User may not reproduce, modify, display, sell or distribute the content of the Site, or use it in any way other than as authorized herein. User may not copy or adapt the HTML code used to create the Site for any reason. The Interpreters’ Group design logo is a trade service or trademark of Interpreters’ Group, and may not be reproduced by User. In addition, Interpreters’ Group’s trademarks, service marks and copyrights protect all content of the Site and all business material generated by Interpreters’ Group, and thereby prohibit any attempt to represent its elements (including recognizable color combinations, design, layout and all other graphic and/or language patterns) without the written or recorded permission of Interpreters’ Group. License to Use. Upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Interpreters’ Group grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable limited license to use this Site in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You agree not to make false or fraudulent statements in your use of the Site, nor to gain access to the Site or to features of the Site to which you have not been authorized. You agree that all content on this Site is the property of Interpreters’ Group, and it is protected by copyrights, moral rights, trademarks, service marks and other proprietary rights and laws of the United States, foreign countries and other international organizations. All rights not expressly granted herein are fully reserved by Interpreters’ Group, its advertisers and licensors. User is further warned that Interpreters’ group will not be used to violate the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any holder of such rights, whether person or entity. By submitting content to Interpreters’ Group, User is representing that you are the owner of such material, or that you are making the submission with the explicit consent of the owner. Your submission of content to Interpreters’ Group is the permanent granting to Interpreters’ Group of all rights to such material, including the right to modify the material, to use it commercially, and to maintain it in its archive. Limitation of Liability. Interpreters’ Group serves as a venue to enable registered employers to post job opportunities and for registered language professionals to respond to these opportunities and to display professional profiles for the knowledge of employers and the general public. Interpreters’ Group is not involved in any actual transaction between employers and language professionals, whether they are registered with Interpreters’ Group or not. In addition, Interpreters’ Group is not involved in any way in any transaction of business or private relationships between parties who have identified themselves on the Site in any capacity. Note as well that there are risks, including the risk of physical harm, of dealing with strangers who make agreements through the internet. Accordingly, all Users of the Site, whether registered with Interpreters’ Group or not, knowingly assume all risks associated with dealing with other persons with whom they come in contact through this Site. Disclaimer of Qualified Service Guarantee. Please note that Interpreters’ Group acts only as an introducer of parties and therefore cannot be held liable for any damages or injuries of any nature arising after parties, whether authorized Users or others, introduce themselves on this Site, or through information obtained from this Site. Interpreters’ Group is neither an employment agency nor a recruiting firm, and makes no representations or guarantees regarding the truthfulness, accuracy, authenticity or timeliness of any information posted by Users, or, in addition, of any other communications engaged in by authorized Users or other parties that are not made through this Site. As a result, Interpreters’ Group has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the jobs posted, the accuracy of listed information or the ability of employers to comply with the terms of an offer. Interpreters’ Group has no control over the accuracy of information posted by the language professional or of his or her ability to fulfill an employment agreement. Interpreters’ Group does not and cannot guarantee that materials posted on this Site will result in positions being filled or language professionals being hired, and is therefore not responsible for any employment decisions made by authorized Users or other parties. No endorsement. Interpreters’ Group specifically disclaims any liability due to a User’s or other person’s transactions or relationships with merchants, advertisers, affiliates or links that the User or other party is introduced to from this Site. This includes the delivery of products or services which are not the direct and explicit commitment by Interpreters’ Group in unambiguous language. The conditions, warranties and representations made by any commercial entity introduced to the User or other party on this Site cannot be considered the participation by Interpreters’ Group in any transaction with those entities and, as such, cannot be the basis for any claim against Interpreters’ Group for the unmet obligations of those entities. Rules of Posted Information. As a registered User or language professional, you will have the opportunity to post text, data and other information which will be displayed to the public. You agree not to post logos, commercial symbols or advertisements connected to any commercial entity or interest without the explicit permission of Interpreters’ Group, even if such entity or interest has an independent relationship with Interpreters’ Group which permits certain posting privileges. In posting information, you are to be considered advised of your own responsibility to a freely accessible internet, which makes the existence of Interpreters’ Group possible. You may be held legally responsible for the damages suffered by others due to actionable or defamatory statements. In addition, you should be aware that you may be liable for posting content which is found to be in violation of various legal standards of propriety which Interpreters’ Group does not have the ability or responsibility to restrict. Interpreters’ Group does not routinely monitor posted or submitted content for accuracy, reliability or propriety. However, Interpreters’ Group reserves the right to refuse to post or to remove or to restrict access to any content if directed to by the Court or if it considers the content to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or other posted rules or policies. Candidates who do not accept these Terms and Conditions will not be eligible for any assignments from IG. Removal from Network and Directory. Interpreters’ Group reserves the right to terminate the membership and participation of any User who is deemed in its judgment to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
